Rock Star Meat Loaf Cancels Concerts Due to Hurricane Sandy Aftermath

Meat Loaf’s final Mad, Mad World tour performances have been canceled indefinitely as intense recovery and cleanup efforts from Hurricane Sandy continue along the East Coast. The remaining concerts were scheduled to take place in New York state which bears brutal marks of the storm’s destructive and deadly path, posing ongoing safety concerns and logistical challenges.

On behalf of his band, the music icon expresses deep concern to the millions of victims that were impacted by the hurricane’s massive damages and devastating toll on the area. “Our prayers and thoughts remain with everyone affected by the storm and the intense recovery process underway across the Northeast.”
